Aurenia Group
By creating an account or using Cosmic Tea (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aurenia Group. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use Cosmic Tea.
⚠️ You must be at least 18 years old to use Cosmic Tea. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
We may update these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Cosmic Tea. If we discover a user is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete all associated data immediately.
Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account, including your email address and date of birth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
One Account Per Person
You may not create multiple accounts. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their express consent.

What Cosmic Tea Is
Cosmic Tea is an entertainment application that uses artificial intelligence to generate astrological relationship readings, compatibility analyses, horoscopes, and relationship reflections (“Content”). The AI guides (Nova, Orion, Cleo, Sage, Vesta, and Roux) are fictional personas powered by Anthropic Claude.
What Cosmic Tea Is Not
Your Acknowledgement
By using Cosmic Tea, you acknowledge and agree that all Content is AI-generated and intended solely for entertainment; that you will not make significant life decisions based solely on Content; and that any decisions you make based on Content are entirely at your own risk.

⚠️ PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS AUTOMATICALLY RENEW. By purchasing a paid subscription, you authorise us (or Apple/Google on our behalf) to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the end of the current period.
Free Trials: If you begin a free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to paid at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Price Changes: We will notify you at least 7 days before any price increase. For annual subscriptions, we will send a reminder 15–45 days before renewal.
How to Cancel
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
EU/EEA Right of Withdrawal: If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of your subscription purchase, unless you have already begun using the paid features. To exercise this right, contact privacy@cosmictea.app within 14 days.
Canadian Users — Consumer Protection: If you are located in Canada, provincial consumer protection laws may provide you with additional rights. In Ontario, the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 governs internet agreements, including automatic renewal obligations. In British Columbia, the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act applies. In Quebec, the Consumer Protection Act (and the Regulation respecting the application of the Consumer Protection Act) governs contracts for services. We comply with applicable Canadian provincial automatic renewal disclosure requirements. To cancel at any time, use the cancellation steps above or contact privacy@cosmictea.app.
You agree not to:
Content you input into Cosmic Tea (your messages, prompts, and relationship details) remains yours. By submitting content, you grant Aurenia Group a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and transmit that content solely for the purpose of generating your AI readings. We do not use your content to train AI models and do not share your content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
Cosmic Tea uses Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic, to generate all readings and responses. The guide personas (Nova, Orion, Cleo, Sage, Vesta, Roux) are fictional characters powered by this AI. In accordance with applicable law, we disclose that your interactions in Cosmic Tea chat are with an AI system, not a human.
All elements of Cosmic Tea — including the app design, guide personas, names, brand assets, software, and underlying AI prompts — are owned by Aurenia Group or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of Cosmic Tea without our express written permission.
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AURENIA GROUP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AURENIA GROUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (I) THE TOTAL AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (II) USD $100.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aurenia Group and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or your violation of any applicable law.
Cosmic Tea may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services. Accessing third-party services is at your own risk.
By You: You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent. Paid subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your App Store or Google Play account.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity. Where possible, we will notify you before termination.
Sections 4, 10, 11, 12, and 15 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at legal@cosmictea.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Arbitration (US Users): Any unresolved dispute shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and Aurenia Group waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.
EU/EEA Users: You retain the right to bring claims before your local courts and to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
Canadian Users: The mandatory arbitration clause above does not apply to you. You retain the right to bring a claim before the courts of your province or territory. You may also contact the Competition Bureau of Canada at competitionbureau.gc.ca or your applicable provincial consumer affairs office regarding consumer protection matters.
